"I was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia—otherworldly. I was born in the year of dragons and dragon slayers. I don't love to be categorized because what I do is not concrete. I channel my different selves with the help of various mediums. I create what my intuition calls me to do. I observe myself and my relationship with everything that I'm surrounded by."
Project name: Today and Tomorrow
Project description: This project explores the profound connection between contemporary art and the times we live in, as well as the dreams artists hold for the future.
Which of your artworks best represents the era we live in today, and why?
"The Butterfly"

We are all capable of evolving, we all must transform.
Crucially, somehow, when one is connected to the divine, to the stars and planets, to intuition, and to oneself, it toxicities their surroundings.
We are digitalized and surrounded by big brothers who are always watching.
You and I are both lights. And there’s a darkness within us that needs to be understood in order to evolve.
Some get trapped there.
They say, “Gimme the light, gimme the light.”
Egregores got to your mind, or somehow you became the one.
Wake up! Wake up!
I know it’s not easy.
But we must evolve, dear, 1984 was 50 years ago, we must move, otherwise, we’ll sink.
The painting was part of the project “I Hide Myself Within My Flower,” which took place in the summer of 2023 when Nodo Ugualava and I collaborated. We worked together with our friends, terrific creatives, to craft some of the pieces. This process led us to explore glimpses of the past, present, and future. We explored the coexistence of natural and human-made elements and the phenomenon of living beings finding their spark and flourishing in unexpected environments, be it as simple as a flower defiantly growing through concrete or as intricate as a person adapting to an unsuitable habitat.
Which of your artworks represents your hopes for the future?
"The Wings"

I do not have hopes for the future. Utopia, even theoretically, is long gone. Now we are all in a dystopian reality. We observed other habitats, how they survived. We transform, sync with them, and become the new ones.
Creatures who survived, who transformed, and who live in the present If one dwells on the past, they will die, if one gets caught up constantly dreaming about the future, they will die.
But being in the present is another death. It’s unchaining yourself, it’s freeing yourself, everything becomes tangible.
