The Art and Myth of Anunnaki

Irakli Keidia is a Georgian visual artist best known for his work on the *Anunnaki* project — a rich fusion of storytelling and visual art inspired by ancient myth and speculative history. In his book *Anunnaki* Keidia reimagines the legendary gods from Mesopotamian lore as powerful beings from the planet Nibiru, exploring their influence on human civilization through a dramatic and emotional narrative. Alongside the book, he has created a series of striking paintings that visually expand the universe of the story, blending symbolic detail with bold, imaginative design. Keidia’s work invites readers and viewers into a world where myth, science fiction, and human struggle collide.

The Anunnaki come from the planet Nibiru. Their primary source of energy is gold. To extract it, the gods decide to create human civilization on Earth.

But can the humans — toiling like slaves day and night in unbearable heat on the mines — find the strength to rise up against the Anunnaki and win their freedom?

Their only hope lies with Nisaba, a nine-year-old Earth girl who unknowingly carries the blood of the gods. Nisaba was just a baby when the gods took her mother; raised by her father, who trained her as a "Warrior of Light," she now burns with an unquenchable desire for revenge against the tyrant Marduk.
