What is *Open Space*?
The Center for Visual and Performing Arts is a non-commercial (non-profit) juridical organization with a social purpose. Open Space seeks to foster experimental visual and performing arts by curating, producing, and hosting artistic projects of local and international artists.

Where is it?
In Tbilisi, Georgia in a former electric engine factory. Open Space covers 2000 square meters. It includes: 2 large exhibition spaces, several small workshops, a common work area, office spaces and a café.

Why is *Open Space* amazing space?
The canter's annual program includes temporary exhibitions. Performances, plays, musical events, and discussions. The center values the discovery of the creative process and works of contemporary artists from diverse fields.
The center aims to discover emerging artists. Give them opportunities to develop professional skills, express themselves creatively, connect with other artists, and enjoy complete creative freedom in self-realization.

Residency and student program
Every year, Open Space announces an open call for the restored program, and a specially created jury selects 4 artists (photographers, video artists, visual artists, multimedia artists) and provides them with a working space for a period of 3 months, along with the necessary financial resources for the production of their work. In the final part of the residency program, the Space necessary to display the works created during the residency is also provided.
